As Vimfay International Health Services, together with the Palliative Care Unit of our contracted hospitals, we offer a carefully designed service to support our patients and their families at every stage of life and to improve the quality of life. Palliative care is an approach that aims to meet the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of patients at the end of life.
What is Palliative Care?
Palliative care aims to alleviate the symptoms (pain, fatigue, nausea, etc.) caused by progressive diseases, to apply relaxing treatments and to keep the patient’s quality of life at the highest level. This approach focuses not only on the patient’s physical health but also on their emotional, spiritual and social needs.

Palliative care is particularly important for patients struggling with terminal illnesses. Those struggling with diseases such as cancer, advanced heart disease, neurological diseases may need palliative care during periods when treatment options are reduced and symptoms increase.
